This tool will add records to the pallet_ tracking table. It is based on an entry on the load extension table (so_load_ext) where pallets have been identified as to be tracked. In review of the data, it would appear to be seldom used, although the scheduled task still runs but if no entries in so_load_ext trigger it,
Historically, there was interest in trying to manage pallets more effectively but it would appear the effort wasn't warranted.
